Stuff I Enjoyed This Month I March Picks
My favorite books, podcasts, videos, tweets and platforms in March
Hi friends,
Hope you’re having a great day with new wishes for the new month. For the Muslim community, I say Ramadan Mubarak to all of you. Thanks for being a subscriber to The Secret To Success. It really means a lot.
In this short newsletter, I am going to share with you some of the things I’ve been enjoying in the previous month hoping that you will get any value from them.
📚 Book
Currently, I am reading The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss which is a fantastic book that teaches you to repudiate the traditional “deferred” life plan in which people work grueling hours their entire life until retirement. This book shows you how to free yourself from the shackles of a corporate job, create the business of your dreams, and live your life the way you want.
🎙️ Podcasts
One of my favorite podcasts that I have been consuming to a huge extent the past month is the On Purpose podcast by Jay Shetty. This podcast provides high-quality fascinating conversations with some of the most insightful people in the world.
The Smart Passive Income Online Business and Blogging Podcast by Pat Flynn is a really valuable podcast especially if financial freedom is something you have been trying to achieve for a while. The host shares with you some business strategies, income sources, and killer marketing tips and tricks so you can be ahead of the curve with your online business.
🕊️ Tweet Thread
How to Get Rich (without getting lucky) by Naval Ravikant who has a great experience in investment and finances. He has made a thread on Twitter called “How to get rich without getting lucky” where he shares some of the best financial advice and mindset shifts I have ever read. His Thread is my favorite thread of all time.
🎥 Videos
How Writing Online Made me a Millionaire by the youtube legend Ali Abdaal. In this video, he talks about why starting a blog and writing, in general, can be a life-changing experience. This video in particular was really inspiring to me when it comes to my writing journey.
Why you’re so bad at managing your time by Matt D’Avella. In this video, he talks about the myth of time, the root reasons why we keep procrastinating on managing our time, and how we can actually manage our time the right way.
🌐 Platforms
SKILLSHARE is an online learning community with thousands of creative classes where you can learn new skills, educate yourself in various fields, and discover your passions with the professionals in the field.
Canva is a free-to-use online graphical tool that combines design, photo-editing, and layout to help you create and design beautifully finished projects. In fact, I have created the thumbnail of this article in Canva.
Notion is my favorite thing on the list here. Notion is basically an all-in-one workspace that allows you to take notes, manage projects, set goals and plans, create calendars, manage to-do lists, write your daily journals, and so much more. Notion is a workspace that hasn’t just organized my work and my studying, but literally everything in my life.
