Stuff I Enjoyed This Month I May's Picks
My favorite book, article, app, video, quote in May.
Hi friends,
Hope you all are having a great day with new wishes for the new month. For all students out there, I suppose that May has been an intensive month packed with many exams and stressful moments. But looking on the bright side, school is soon over and summer is finally around the corner. I am sure that you all have done your best, so hat off to all of you, champions.
Anyways, in Mays's picks, I will share with you a life-changing book, an interesting article, an inspirational video, the quote of the month, and my new soon-to-be-favorite editing app.
📚Book I The Power of Habit
If you have been reading my newsletter for a while, you surely know that I am a big believer in habits and their huge power in our lives. Our habitual behavior is considered by many, me included, as the main factor to succeeding in any area of your life, whether it is physically, mentally, spiritually, or finically.
The Power Of Habit is a book that has been recommended to me many times, and as soon as I found this book available in the library, I had to pick it up and give it a shot. After only reading a few pages of this book, I have to tell you that this book will be one of my favorites this year.
The Power Of Habit helps you understand why habits are at the core of everything you do, how you can change them, and what impact that will have on your life, your business, and society. This book reminds me a lot of one of my favorite books of all time, Atomic Habits by James Clear.
📰 Article I The Romantic Scholar: A New Approach to Student Life, by Cal Newport.
I really like Cal’s concept of adventure studying. Studying isn’t a chore if you make an adventure out of it, by finding a new cafe to work in, studying with friends, etc. It’s also nice to rediscover the wonder of studying cool things, instead of seeing school as a constant battle for good grades.
I am a big believer in our journey as students, not the destination it leads us to. Therefore, I try my best to always enjoy the journey: my studying, my tasks, and even my exams rather than be so obsessed about the grades I will receive later on.

🎬 Video I Nicklas Christl, I survived 7 Days Of Discomfort
I really enjoyed Nicklas Christl video that deals with a problem that most of us are struggling with in our today’s world where comfort is considered a fourth necessity. Nicklas's creative way of telling the story as well as his highly professional video production has made this video my favorite of the month.
